I ran across a 1991 JD870 4wd with #80 loader and a JD backhoe (do not have the model number). Both the loader and the backhoe are quick attach implements. It is in good condition with 1800 hours. The seat and front tires could stand to be replaced, other than that, it looks pretty good - used, but not abused. The guy is asking $10,500. Good Price???? I have about 5.5 acres that soon will be mostly grass. Major uses for the tractor will be general yard work, horse barn work (3 horses), some minor landscaping to redirect water runnoff from the barn, and whatever else I can think of

About two months ago I bought a 1991 JD870, 4wd, 80 loader, 6ft rake, turf wheels/tires and almost new set of Ag wheels/tires thrown in, 420 hours, excellent condition. The seller was originally asking $13,900, then went down to $13,000. I offered $12K and he accepted a few days later. I've put 50 hours on it already with no problems at all. It's been a great machine and has cut my total mowing time in half since I bought my 6ft Caroni finish mower.
